Charging Part 1 starts with the reasons why proper charging is so important. It covers gauge connections and purging, charging through the low side of the system, and removing gauges. It also explores the tools used for charging such as pressure/temperature charts, analog gauges, and temperature measuring tools.

Charging Part 2 starts with superheat and subcooling basics. It covers why, when, and where to measure superheat, superheat charging charts, and reading subcooling tables and curves. It also explores the relationship between refrigerant pressures and airflow. This course follows Charging Part 1: Tools and Rules.
