Backing up takes a lot of work. Driving a truck or tractor-trailer is skilled work that takes practice and concentration. Driving in reverse – with less visibility and steering control – is even trickier. In this course, you will learn that backing up is one of the most dangerous moments in your driving day, and the skills and techniques for backing up trucks and trailers, including how to use mirrors and visual inspections to compensate for blind spots, and how to maintain steering control.
