In Loading Dock Safety and Maintenance, we will start to put into practice your knowledge of loading docks and preventative maintenance skills. The course begins with an overview of preventative maintenance activities for loading docks and the value of preventative maintenance for worker safety and continuous operation of equipment. Using interactive simulations, which give you feedback at each step along the way, you will explore a normally operating loading dock then perform several preventative maintenance inspections. Using virtual tools, you will make observations and practice evaluating the health of loading dock equipment while safely performing the work.
