Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is regulated to protect drivers, the public, and the environment from harm. In this course, you'll learn to recognize hazards and properly accept shipments, building a practical understanding of TDG regulations so you can plan, transport, and deliver goods safely and without incident. The training covers key TDG guidelines in Canada, including safe packaging to reduce the risk of accidental release, required labels/placards and documentation to identify hazards, and emergency procedures such as response planning, reporting, and measures to protect public safety. The course was created in alignment with Canada's TDG Act and their ERAP.
