This course provides a detailed introduction to WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), with a focus on hazardous labels and Safety Data Sheets. key tools used to communicate hazard information in Canadian workplaces. Learners will understand how to read and interpret WHMIS labels, understand the 16 sections of an SDS, and apply this knowledge to ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous products. The course will also cover WHMIS regulations, compliance requirements, and exemptions for certain products.
