In this course, you'll explore utility-scale PV civil infrastructure. This includes the foundations and piles, as well as the soil and terrain on which solar racking structures are built. You'll explore foundation types, soil types, what's known as the 'active zone' of soil, geotechnical testing, and other terrain-based and environmental considerations for utility scale solar.
