Interplay Learning - Solid State Electronics

A brief overview of Solid State Electronics as it relates to the residential HVAC industry. In this course we will explore the application and usage of various solid state electronic devices and how they impact circuits in which they are used. This course is intended to provide a basic understanding of the principles of semiconductors and other solid state components. After an overview of individual components, electromagnetic relays are compared to solid state relays. The course will identify how to use the principles behind symbols and diagrams for wiring and electrical considerations.
