In this course we will begin to study some of the science that supports mechanical refrigeration systems: ranging from the effects of temperature on molecular motion, to the different states of refrigerant within a system. This course covers all the physics necessary to really understand how a system works. An overview of absolute and atmospheric pressure transitions to the Pressure-Temperature relationship of fluid is provided and applied analogously to reading and comprehending pressure gauges.
