Interplay Learning - Radiation Safety

This course on radiation safety will provide learners with the essential knowledge and skills needed to work safely in occupations where high levels of radiation occur where radioactive materials are handled or where radiation-producing equipment is housed. Learners will explore what radiation is and the severity of its types and sources. They will also discover what precautions to take when working around radiation as well as the hazards and health effects from radiation exposure. Learners will also be equipped with decontamination and emergency procedures from OSHA that should be followed during a radiation emergency.
