Interplay Learning - Centrifugal Chiller Startup and Recovery

This course covers how to start up and recover centrifugal chillers for cooling towers. In this simulation-based course, we are going to walk you through seasonal startup and recovery scenarios. You'll be prompted to for each process by area, and we'll guide you through the process along the way. We'll support your learning progression with a guided procedure guide and when your understanding of concepts is ready, you have challenge scenarios to see what you've retained. There are nine different guided and challenge scenarios, 18 in all. You will learn the basic mechanics and processes related to the system, and walk through a simulation for the various areas of focus, including the pumps, cooling towers, condenser water pumps, and chiller for startup, and applicable processes related to the recovery machine. Finally, you will be challenged to navigate the simulation independently with several challenge scenarios.
