This course provides an introduction to Building Automation Systems (BAS) which are essential for enhancing the efficiency comfort and security of modern buildings. Learners will gain a foundational understanding of BAS including their purpose and the significant benefits they offer. The course covers key components of BAS such as HVAC lighting security and fire safety systems as well as the roles of skilled trade workers and building managers in maintaining and managing these systems. By the end of the course learners will be able to define a BAS understand its primary functions and describe the advantages of automating building systems.
